About the Role:

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is a leading wine and spirits distributor in North America, with a rich legacy of success spanning over 50 years. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion through strategic leadership and innovative thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with local stakeholders to maximize program spending effectiveness and drive company profits.
  • Analyze and project quarterly and monthly business performance for assigned territories.
  • Provide strategic guidance and conflict resolution to the shared team, focusing on key accounts in the region.
  • Identify market trends and developments in product categories, geographic regions, and among the entire account base.
  • Collaborate with the team to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3-5 years of industry-related sales experience.
  • Dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration, and insurance.
  • Clear understanding of financial acumen.
  • Strong communication, organization, and commercial planning capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using Business Intelligence software such as Compass, Diver, Excel, and/or Proof.
