About Us:

Meridian Home Cleaning is a new residential cleaning service focused on delivering high-quality cleaning solutions to homes in the Meridian area. We are looking for the right individual to both manage operations and actively perform home cleaning duties, especially in the beginning stages of the business. If you are an experienced professional in the home cleaning industry who is willing to get hands-on and help the business grow, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Home Cleaner to help launch and grow Meridian Home Cleaning. This role requires a flexible individual who can manage the daily operations and perform cleaning services as the business gets off the ground. In the beginning, we will be building the business one client at a time. While this will be fun and exciting, it may also be slow and potentially stressful during the first few months of growth. Ideally, as the company grows, this position will transition into a full-time management role with a team of cleaning associates. Having potential cleaners in the pipeline or the ability to hire new staff as we grow is a major advantage.

Incentive for Existing Clients:

If you bring any existing clients to Meridian Home Cleaning, you will keep 70% of the revenue generated from those clients for as long as you are employed with us. This is a great opportunity for someone who currently has several customers and wants to transition them into a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform residential home cleaning duties in the initial stages of the business
  • Manage and schedule cleaning jobs, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Handle incoming calls, provide estimates, bid jobs, and win new business
  • Hire and train new cleaning staff as the business grows
  • Track and manage inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Implement and use scheduling software and digital tools to streamline operations
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote the business and attract new clients
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Work closely with the owners to develop business strategies and meet growth targets

Provided Support:

  • Decision-Making Influence: You will have a strong input in decision-making processes from the start, playing a crucial role in shaping the company's future.
  • Interaction with Leadership: Direct interaction with the CEO and investors, giving you the chance to participate in high-level discussions.
  • Leadership Role: You'll take on a leadership position right from the start, guiding both operations and staff development.
  • Comprehensive Marketing Support: All marketing, including advertising, branding, and lead generation, will be handled by the company, with your support and direction, to ensure consistent business flow.
  • Tools to Succeed: We'll provide a phone and mileage reimbursement, ensuring you have everything needed to effectively manage operations and cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential home cleaning, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory role
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools for scheduling, marketing, and communication
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to commute between job sites
  • Ability to work independently, manage cleaning duties, and oversee a team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to hire, train, and motivate new employees
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Knowledge of best cleaning practices, pricing strategies, and suppliers/chemicals is a major plus
  • Having a pipeline of potential cleaners is a huge advantage
