We are seeking a driven and skilled Sales Account Manager II to become a vital part of our Bulk Chemical Distribution division.

Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate enduring, value-oriented relationships with clients; expanding business opportunities while enhancing profitability and streamlining management processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enhance Univar's standing within each client through consultative and comprehensive selling techniques at all organizational levels.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by making proactive sales calls to expand the territory.
Prioritize customer retention and overall satisfaction.
Offer technical support and consulting services to elevate our value proposition to clients.
Maintain an updated and transparent view of your sales pipeline.

Establish pricing and service standards, and coordinate customer quotations or provide essential information to local branches.

Collaborate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure precise inventory management.
Exhibit a strong commitment to safety, both personally and for your colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5+ years in sales experience.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or chemical sales is preferred, with chloralkali experience being a plus.
A Bachelor's degree (Technical Science or Chemistry preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to foster a broad network of professional contacts.

Strong business acumen, including an understanding of the relationships between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemical products and services.

Exceptional listening skills and a problem-solving mindset to identify needs and motivations, effectively overcoming objections to close sales.
Proficient negotiation skills that enable Univar to achieve appropriate value for products and services.
Willingness to travel within the designated territory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is home-based, with a preference for candidates located in the specified region. The territory encompasses several states.
