Position Summary

The Client Services Manager (CSM) plays a crucial role in cultivating and managing relationships with designated clients and field staff to efficiently address challenges and concerns. The CSM is responsible for overseeing all non-clinical elements of care provision, which includes managing authorized hours, evaluating potential candidates, and facilitating communication among clients, field staff, and office personnel. The primary focus of this role is to ensure client satisfaction and enhance client retention. This position reports directly to the Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possesses a solid understanding of therapy services and the associated terminology related to various diagnoses.
  • Gathers and documents referral information for therapy services, communicating needs during staffing meetings to initiate client services and addressing any barriers to service commencement.
  • Identifies and resolves authorization and family needs to assess feasibility and financial obligations regarding therapy services.
  • Coordinates admissions prior to therapy evaluations with the client's caregiver, ensuring all necessary consent paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborates with clinicians and clients to address family dynamic concerns, fostering a positive work environment for both staff and clients.
  • Facilitates coordination of services with external providers and supports families in accessing additional services beyond those offered by MGA Homecare.
  • Establishes effective communication and employs critical thinking and problem-solving skills to serve as the primary contact for all non-clinical inquiries or issues.
  • Builds strong relationships with clients and families by being well-informed about individual staffing needs and clinician preferences to ensure suitable staff placement.
  • Sets realistic expectations with clients regarding the capabilities of MGA's services.
  • Accurately logs all non-clinical client and field staff complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborates with the recruiting team to address both long-term and short-term staffing requirements by conveying client-specific requests.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of payer source requirements, including Medicaid, and is familiar with MGA's software systems, internal processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicates and escalates all client and field staff issues to management as per company policy.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation for after-hours service matters.
  • Effectively supports and executes the mission, ethics, and objectives of the organization.
  • Represents MGA and themselves in a professional and positive manner.
  • Completes assigned tasks within designated timelines.
  • Exhibits a high level of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and communicated by management.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service role.
  • Preferred 1+ years' experience in a management position.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel.
  • Current state driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
