Fire Protection Engineer/Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer/Project Manager to join our team at Continental Fire Sprinkler Company. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, installation teams, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to installation teams.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, including training and coaching.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site visits, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including regular communication and project updates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in fire protection engineering and project management.
  • Proven track record of successful project management, including experience with design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
