Job Summary

AESC US LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to lead our Trade Compliance team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert advice on trade laws, export/import controls, sanctions, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal counsel on trade compliance matters, including export/import controls, sanctions, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate trade compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance is integrated into business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving trade laws and regulations, and communicate changes to the business.
Requirements
  • JD or equivalent degree.
  • Admitted to the bar in a relevant jurisdiction and in good standing.
  • 4-6 years of post-graduate work experience in trade compliance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in trade compliance, including export/import controls, sanctions, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
