Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Space Systems team. This role will involve managing, planning, and executing large-scale projects to launch cutting-edge technologies to space. The successful candidate will have experience leading technology projects through the full program lifecycle, developing and maintaining project portfolios, and prioritizing projects based on strategic importance and resource availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technology projects through the full program lifecycle, including planning, execution, project closure, stakeholder management, and issue/dependency management.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology projects.
  • Prioritize projects and programs based on strategic importance, resource availability, and business impact.
  • Manage complex budgets, including labor forecasts, actuals, material subs, and vendor management.
  • Mentor and knowledge-share with project resources to ensure accountability for project deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with broad ranges of technical and non-technical resources, internal and external audiences, and all levels of the organization.
  • Translate technical requirements into work delivery plans.
  • Solve complex problems and drive decision-making using data and analysis.
  • Experience with various project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Hands-on experience leading teams through Agile transformation.
  • Proven self-starter with experience in fast-paced, nimble environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and collaboration platforms, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Work experience in space or engineering/technical education background.
  • Experience with government programs or vendor management.
  • Strong hardware or software background.
  • Experience with Jira/Agile management.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $113,251 - $150,057. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
