Job Summary

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Engineer to support the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing life cycle management plans, project cost evaluations, and other critical documents to ensure the success of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Life Cycle Management Plans: Create comprehensive plans to support the XCTC Program, including project cost evaluations and feasibility studies.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform independent research, reviews, and analysis to support life cycle management documents and project cost evaluations.
  • Monitor Program Requirements: Stay up-to-date with changing trends and maintain knowledge of program requirements, guidelines, practices, and industry standards.
  • Review and Edit Documents: Review, edit, and approve documents in preparation for life cycle management documents and project cost evaluations.
  • Develop Relationships: Build relationships with clients and staff to ensure client satisfaction and identify support opportunities.
  • Provide Input to Project Schedule: Contribute to project work schedules, including duration, scope, and effort required to resolve program issues.
  • Support Studies and Conceptual Design: Assist in the development of studies, conceptual design, and modification packages for impact on system basis and screening/safety evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience, with 6 months+ spent developing life cycle management plans and/or project cost evaluations.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge and understanding of processes supporting design and licensing of systems, including documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated competencies in technical writing, facilitation, and decision-making.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with varying duration depending on project and client needs.
Additional Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
