We are currently seeking a skilled Global Procurement - Procurement Analyst for a significant contract opportunity. This role offers long-term potential and is focused on enhancing procurement processes within a leading organization.

Job Overview:

Compensation: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave, depending on the work location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactional Leadership: Act as the Sourcing Process Data Lead and SAP Subject Matter Expert, driving excellence in business processes for effective ERP implementation.
  • Consultation and Support: Serve as the SAP Procurement and ASL Champion, offering consulting and escalation assistance.
  • Training Initiatives: Educate Site Procurement Teams and Stakeholders on SAP Procurement activities to ensure precise execution of procurement processes.
  • Project Engagement: Participate in all project program sessions as a transactional Subject Matter Expert, ensuring adherence to procurement timelines and milestones.
  • Process Consistency: Guarantee uniform transactional practices across sites and globally throughout the migration process for all procurement-related activities.
  • Data Migration Assistance: Provide support in reviewing data transitions between ERP systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Procurement Data Management: Maintain alignment on sourcing strategies, including lead times, pricing, vendor IDs, and units of measure.
  • DCT Verification: Create, validate, and support Site Procurement Data Files (DCTs) to facilitate data loads.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Conduct all necessary testing for data migration, focusing on SAP Approved Supplier Lists and related records.
  • Cutover and Support: Assist in cutover planning and all post-go-live activities.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor setup transitions between ERP systems.
  • Dual Sourcing Strategy: Update and maintain material dual sourcing strategies as necessary.
  • Supplier List Support: Provide assistance for Approved Supplier List DCTs and material qualification processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of diverse procurement experience.
  • Experience in direct procurement is advantageous.
  • Background in a technical, operational, or business role within the relevant industry is preferred.
  • Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices is highly valued.
  • Experience with SAP implementation and deployment in Procurement & Supply Planning is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and/or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Infinity is desired.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Relevant industry certifications (CPM/CPSM/CSCP/CPIM) are preferred.
  • Capability to collaborate cross-functionally as a vital member of the project team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to engage with various levels within the organization.
  • Proactive and analytical approach to enhancing procurement services.
  • Demonstrated independence and minimal supervision required.
