As a key member of the Global Sourcing and Procurement division, you will serve as an essential partner across various category teams. In the role of Senior Manager of Global Logistics Sourcing, you will spearhead sourcing initiatives and negotiation tactics to enhance critical supply chain operations.

Logistics procurement experience is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates with a background in indirect procurement are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Management: Lead complex regional and global sourcing initiatives across all designated categories, including Freight Forwarding, Ocean Freight (FCL and LCL), and Warehousing & Distribution.
  • Develop Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate in crafting intricate regional and global sourcing strategies for categories such as international logistics, ocean freight, freight forwarding, and customs brokerage. Take charge of strategy formulation for assigned sourcing events.
  • Drive Business Value: Partner closely with Business Stakeholders to maximize value while upholding high service quality standards. Cultivate trust and ensure alignment with key Business Partners and senior management.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with Global Category Management Teams for assigned categories, fostering strong relationships with international colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for specification alignment, process enhancements, and demand management. Support supplier relationship management initiatives.

What You'll Need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of indirect sourcing and procurement, ideally with experience in international logistics, ocean freight, freight forwarding, and customs brokerage; however, indirect procurement specialists will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in procurement/sourcing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Analytical skills to assess data related to expenditure, supplier performance, and market dynamics.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in a Blue-Chip environment managing multinational Business Partners and suppliers.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
