Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our procurement processes and will be responsible for a variety of key functions, including:

  • Transactional Leadership: Act as the lead for the Sourcing Process Data and serve as the SAP Subject Matter Expert, ensuring the implementation of best practices in business processes.
  • Consultative Support: Provide expert guidance and escalation support in SAP Procurement, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Training Initiatives: Educate Site Procurement Teams and stakeholders on SAP Procurement procedures to guarantee precise execution of procurement tasks.
  • Project Participation: Engage in all project program sessions as a transactional expert, ensuring adherence to procurement timelines and milestones.
  • Process Consistency: Maintain uniformity in transactional practices across sites during the migration process.
  • Data Migration Assistance: Support the review and migration of data between ERP systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Data Ownership: Align sourcing strategies with data management, including vendor IDs and pricing.
  • Verification and Validation: Create and validate Site Procurement Data Files to support data loads.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Conduct necessary testing for data migration, focusing on key procurement documents.
  • Cutover and Support: Assist in planning for system transitions and provide post-implementation support.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor setup across ERP systems.
  • Dual Sourcing Management: Update and maintain dual sourcing strategies as needed.
  • Material Qualification Support: Aid in the management of Approved Supplier Lists and material qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of diverse procurement experience is required.
  • Experience in direct procurement is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the biopharmaceutical or medical device industries is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP implementation in Procurement & Supply Planning is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions are necessary.
