Position Overview:

This position involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the success of our procurement processes. The selected candidate will engage in:

  • Transactional Leadership: Act as the lead for the Sourcing Process Data and serve as the SAP Subject Matter Expert, ensuring best practices are followed for successful ERP implementation.
  • Consultative Support: Provide expert guidance and escalation support in SAP Procurement and ASL.
  • Training and Development: Educate Site Procurement Teams and Stakeholders on SAP Procurement functions to guarantee precise execution of procurement activities.
  • Project Participation: Attend all project sessions as a Subject Matter Expert, ensuring that procurement timelines and milestones are adhered to.
  • Process Consistency: Maintain uniformity in transactional processes throughout the migration for all procurement-related tasks.
  • Data Migration Assistance: Support the review and migration of data between ERP systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Procurement Data Management: Align sourcing strategies, including lead times, pricing, and vendor information.
  • Verification and Validation: Create and validate Site Procurement Data Files (DCTs) to support data loads.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Conduct necessary testing for data migration focusing on SAP Approved Supplier Lists and related records.
  • Cutover and Support: Assist in cutover planning and post-implementation activities.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor transitions between ERP systems.
  • Dual Sourcing Strategy: Update and maintain material dual sourcing strategies as needed.
  • Material Qualification Support: Aid in the management of Approved Supplier List DCTs and material qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of diverse procurement experience is required.
  • Experience in direct procurement is advantageous.
  • Background in a technical or operational role within the relevant industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience in cGMP within biopharmaceuticals or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP implementation in Procurement & Supply Planning is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant industry certifications (CPM/CPSM/CSCP/CPIM) are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with various levels within the organization.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement in procurement services.
