About the Role

At AccessAbilities, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier care and fostering an inclusive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of individuals, including completing assessments and quarterly summaries, to ensure the creation of individualized outcome tracking programs that promote their desired life outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to discuss individual services and outcome optimization.
  • Supervise, support, train, and develop Direct Support Professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure services align with standards set forth by the Council of Quality and Leadership (CQL).
  • Foster and encourage natural supports for all individuals receiving services.
  • Advocate for individuals' rights and ensure they receive the highest standard of care.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the human services field is preferred.
  • Experience working with the Medicaid Waiver preferred.
  • Willingness to drive to and throughout the greater Indianapolis area.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the individuals.
  • The ability to collaborate with local agencies and co-workers.
  • Professionalism, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate, and handle difficult situations with the team and family.
  • Have an acceptable driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
