Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in the assigned business segment and/or geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages relationships with business banking clients to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Actively engages in the sales process to ensure the attainment of regional and individual goals and objectives.
  • Presents a variety of product solutions to client needs and provides responsive quality service.
  • Approves transactions within delegated authority and manages overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.
  • Monitors and analyzes relationship results and account activities to determine client profitability and makes recommendations regarding accounts to be further developed or eliminated.
  • Works closely with existing and new clients to understand their specific financial requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Develops relationships and supports other CNB departments and colleagues to provide customers and prospects with the solutions recommended.
  • Participates in internal and external community activities as a representative of CNB, promoting and attracting new colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience required.
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial lending experience within the segment required.
  • Minimum 5 years of credit experience required.
  • Must be in good standing under The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) and must be registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry; or must be able to be registered under the Safe Act.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Bank operations, policies and procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • General knowledge of Bank products and services.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
