About the Role

SS&C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Director of Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services sales, preferably in hedge funds or private markets.
  • Strong understanding of fund administration, middle office, and related services.
  • Self-starter mindset with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • High level of comfort preparing and delivering client presentations.
