Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Synopsys. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our tools.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment and software.
- Implementation Methodologies: Utilize your expertise in implementation methodologies to optimize Synopsys Tool Fusion Compiler, conduct static timing analysis (STA), and implement low power flows.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using Python and TCL to automate processes, improving operational efficiency and workflow optimization.
- Collaboration and Communication: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our tools.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices.
You will join a dedicated team of technical support engineers who are passionate about solving customer issues and driving technological innovation. Our team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure the seamless functionality and integration of Synopsys tools, providing top-notch support to our clients.
Requirements- Expertise: Expertise in implementation methodologies and Synopsys Tool Fusion Compiler, proficiency in static timing analysis (STA) and low power flows, and advanced skills in Python and TCL scripting.
- Experience: Experience with synthesis and PnR tools such as Fusion Compiler, ICC2, or other PnR tools, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-Facing Experience: Experience in customer-facing roles is highly desirable, as you will often be the bridge between our cutting-edge technology and its practical application in diverse environments.
