Job Overview

We are looking for a part-time/ad hoc Technical Support Specialist to provide assistance with IT-related challenges.

As a vital contributor, you will help clients troubleshoot and resolve technology issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and configuration of computer workstations.
  • Provide end-user assistance for executives and office staff, including hardware and software installation and configuration, as well as security functions like password resets.
  • Experience in data file management, including copying and restoring, and migrating operating systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using tools such as SCCM and PXE boot.
  • Familiarity with active directory and domain management.
  • Support for email systems, audio/visual conferencing, and VoIP device setup and configuration.
  • Assist with enterprise solutions, including Microsoft Office365, Exchange email, and antivirus software.
  • Deliver prompt and effective support for executive-level needs.
  • Provide technical assistance on commonly used applications and devices, such as network printers and O365 applications.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate IT support role with proficiency in Windows and some Apple/Mac systems.
  • Application support experience for Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
  • Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server, Mac OS X, iOS, and Windows 7 through 10.
  • Experience with installation and configuration of printers from brands like Xerox, Canon, and HP.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
