Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist in providing exceptional service to our clients.

Role Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be proficient in:

  • Operating Systems: Windows 7, Windows 10, and familiarity with Windows XP.
  • Software Management: Experience with SCCM for packaging and imaging, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite.
  • Active Directory: Skills in managing user accounts, including creating and deleting groups.
  • Mobile Device Knowledge: Basic understanding of smartphones and occasional Mac systems.

Key Functions

The role involves:

  • Providing break/fix support and refreshing technology setups.
  • Imaging devices, creating objects in Active Directory, and ensuring user data is backed up and transferred to new equipment.
  • Utilizing bootable media to select and deploy the appropriate images.

Essential Skills

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardware installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance.

2. Proficient in using Active Directory for user account management.

3. Experience in a corporate environment providing immediate break/fix and IMAC support, with a strong troubleshooting background.
