Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the care process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: The Registered Nurse must have an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) Degree or Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or RN Diploma at start date.
- Experience: Two (2) years of current surgery experience required, with a preference for scrub experience.
