Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager PreOp PACU FT Days to join our team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our PreOp PACU department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of personnel and supplies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.
  • Minimum three years relevant clinical nursing experience.
  • Two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • ACLS certification as applicable by facility/department.
  • PALS/NRP certification required for certain clinical areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (PCCN) certification.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
  • Certified Perioperative Registered Nurse (CNOR) certification.
