Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - PreOp PACU Full Time Days Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our PreOp PACU team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the PreOp PACU unit, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Coordinate care planning with other healthcare disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
- Certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Specialized training in bariatrics or wound care.
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
