We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize waste.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and other initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum three years of relevant clinical nursing experience, preferably in a cardiovascular setting.
- Two years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Certifications such as CCRN, PCCN, or CEN are highly desirable.
