We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to lead our PreOp PACU FT Days team at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing a team of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient flow.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel, ensuring efficient use of staff and supplies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve departmental operations and patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum three years of relevant clinical nursing experience, with a focus on preoperative and post-anesthesia care.
- Two years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, patient care software, and other relevant systems.
- Certifications in critical care, perioperative nursing, or a related field.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
