Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Room Attendant is to uphold the cleanliness and safety of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and guidelines for the safe use of cleaning supplies.
  • Change bed linens and make beds, which may involve lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Dust and wipe down all furniture, artwork, drawers, window sills, and shelves.
  • Vacuum carpets throughout the room and dispose of trash.
  • Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed.
  • Manage room keys, deliver them to assigned rooms, and ensure carts are stocked appropriately. Conduct visual inspections of rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including scrubbing and reaching high areas.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences.
