Overview:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of hotel rooms and facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and guidelines for the safe use of cleaning products.
  • Strip and remake beds, changing linens as necessary, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Dust and sanitize all surfaces, including furniture, artwork, drawers, window sills, and shelves.
  • Utilize a vacuum cleaner throughout guest rooms and dispose of trash appropriately.
  • Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed.
  • Sign for room keys, transport them to assigned rooms, and ensure heavy carts are adequately stocked. Conduct visual inspections of rooms for cleanliness and readiness.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks, including reaching overhead and working in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and the operation of various cleaning equipment.
  • Capability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles for different audiences.
