Overview:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of hotel rooms and facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines for the use of cleaning products.
- Strip and remake beds, changing linens, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Dust and clean all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and window ledges.
- Vacuum carpets and empty waste receptacles throughout the room.
- Restock guest room supplies, linens, and amenities as needed.
- Sign for and manage room keys, ensuring rooms are visually inspected for cleanliness upon completion.
- Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks that require physical exertion, including reaching and bending.
- Willingness to assist colleagues and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment operation.
- Capability to handle equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style for various audiences.
