Overview:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of hotel rooms and common areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, staff, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and instructions for the use of cleaning products.
- Change bed linens and make beds, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Dust and wipe down all furniture, artwork, drawers, window sills, and shelves.
- Vacuum all areas of the room and dispose of trash appropriately.
- Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed.
- Manage room keys, retrieve them, and ensure rooms are stocked and visually inspected for cleanliness.
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks that require reaching overhead and working in tight spaces.
- Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
- Capability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style for various audiences.
