Job Summary:

The Service Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact for all customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the service process. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers to understand their service needs and provide updates on the status of their service job.
  • Assign service jobs to technicians and oversee the progress of the job to completion.
  • Ensure all required parts and supplies are available to technicians to complete the service job.
  • Verify that service performed is in compliance with company safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Review and finalize customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with three to seven years of related experience.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience in an automotive or heavy-duty engine repair environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with JD Edwards service system is a plus.
Working Conditions:

This role will be based in an office and shop environment, with occasional exposure to a shop environment without air conditioning.

Stewart & Stevenson Power Products LLC offers a competitive salary range of $58,656.00 to $80,000.00 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus vacation, sick time, and holiday pay.
