Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule service appointments and obtain necessary customer and vehicle information prior to arrival.
  • Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts, establishing a promised time for completion.
  • Monitor the progress of repairs throughout the day and communicate any changes in the estimate or promised time to customers, ensuring proper authorization before additional repairs are performed.
  • Test-drive vehicles or refer to test technicians as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, meeting or exceeding manufacturer, zone, or branch average standards.
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and care, highlighting the importance of adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Meet dealership standards for hours per customer repair order written.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know requirements.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents or incidents to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Two years of experience in a dealership position.
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the USA.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
