Position Summary:

The ideal candidate for the Global Advertising Manager role will spearhead our advertising initiatives, concentrating on paid advertising strategies to drive targeted traffic and enhance ROI. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will oversee and mentor our PPC team of approximately 10 members, collaborating closely with our Amazon team to optimize campaigns across various platforms and regions.

This role is primarily managerial, ensuring that the PPC team adheres to established processes and best practices. You will guide and develop the team while being accountable for the overall performance of the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the PPC team, offering guidance, support, and training to ensure their success and development.
  • Manage budgeting and allocate resources effectively across PPC campaigns.
  • Design, implement, and oversee PPC campaigns on the Amazon platform to achieve marketing objectives and client goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive advertising strategies aimed at meeting revenue and profitability targets, including thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and market assessments.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze campaign data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PPC strategies align with broader marketing initiatives and business objectives.
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new advertising personnel for the Amazon team in partnership with HR.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training, mentorship, and leadership to all advertising team members.
  • Refine and adapt advertising strategies, structures, and SOPs in line with overall business objectives, overseeing the implementation of strategies for new product launches.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing PPC campaigns on the Amazon platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon's vendor and seller central.
  • Experience with a large catalog of several hundred SKUs is preferred.
  • Proficient in analyzing campaign data, interpreting metrics, and deriving actionable insights for performance optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in campaign setup, keyword targeting, and ad copywriting.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team of PPC specialists.
  • Noise-cancelling headsets are required.
