About the Role

Versar is seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team in Ocoee, FL.

Your Impact

  • Perform routine inspections on an assigned percentage of completed work orders to verify compliance with standards.
  • Keep current and accurate records to comply with Quality Assurance Review stipulations and requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for review and approval.
  • Maintain project database with current information required to produce accurate reports.
  • Advise the Project Manager of changing policies and conflicts with standards.
  • Inspect in-house and subcontractor work.
  • Track QC work order status and complete timesheets.
  • Understand and abide by the standards for ethical behavior and integrity.
  • Monitor and maintain a current library of client and agency policies and procedures.
  • Participate in client meetings as directed.
  • Travel to perform position duties.
  • Work at night, performing inspections of reflectivity and lighting assets.
  • Drive company vehicles.
  • Use equipment safely.
  • Assist with development of the site/project's safety program.
  • Manage Structure Work Order (bridges and signs) QA and attend FARC Meetings.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and conduct.

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication with managers and coworkers in English.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop, and twist.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work along local roadways and highways.
  • Willingness to work multiple shifts and varying hours.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings.
  • Literacy in Microsoft programs.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and use client and manufacturer's design standards.
  • Ability to advise project personnel of quality and client recommendations.
  • Displays a high level of initiative, effort, attention to detail, and commitment.
  • Follows policy, cooperates with supervisors, and aligns behavior with the goals of the organization.
  • Maintain an Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Certification within 60 days of project startup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Quality Control experience in construction inspection, facility maintenance, construction, or public works.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of higher education, FDOT or other DOT certifications.
  • Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in maintenance work.
