This conference is recognized nationally for its impactful ministry, managing significant assets to support the Methodist community throughout the region.
The organization empowers its congregational partners through a variety of services including investment management, loans, and endowment services. It also offers individuals resources for endowment development, financial literacy training, and investment opportunities. The conference provides valuable information on charitable giving, financial advice, and guidance through various communication channels.

Position:

The Chief Executive Officer will be a visionary, faith-driven leader tasked with steering a strategic agenda, strengthening relationships, and enhancing the organization’s reputation, capacity, and impact.

The CEO will possess a proven track record relevant to the organization and the Church, demonstrating a passion for the mission of fostering positive change.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will:

Be a Transformational Leader:

The CEO will inspire staff and Board members, establishing strong connections with clergy, congregational partners, and stakeholders across diverse community sizes.


Enhance Relationships and Philanthropy:

As the public representative of the organization, the CEO will actively engage with clergy, volunteers, donors, and community members, fostering a dynamic presence statewide.


Drive Growth:

The CEO will be innovative in expanding loans, investments, and endowment services, implementing new programs and revenue streams to advance the mission.


Broaden Awareness and Impact:

The CEO will enhance the organization’s reach and connection with varied audiences across the region.


Exhibit Strong Business and Financial Management:

The CEO will demonstrate strategic leadership and financial expertise to navigate current and future challenges, developing a sustainable business model.


Cultivate a Positive Organizational Culture:

The CEO will foster an environment of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance, making the organization an exemplary workplace.


Personal Characteristics:

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, faith-based leader with personal charisma, vision, financial insight, and a commitment to the mission.

The successful individual will be authentic, compassionate, and a confident leader who promotes teamwork, inclusion, and innovation.

They will unify and inspire individuals to collaborate effectively, demonstrating humility and self-confidence while making difficult decisions.

Proven skills in relationship-building, fundraising, and business development, alongside an entrepreneurial mindset, are essential. Strengths in strategy, innovation, and execution are required.


Relationships:

The CEO will work closely with various leadership bodies within the Methodist Church.

Current leadership participates in key organizational meetings, emphasizing the importance of the CEO's relationships with church leadership.

The CEO will oversee a dedicated team of professionals and report to the Board of Directors.

The current direct reports include key financial and operational leaders.
