Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, and fostering a culture of inclusivity throughout our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, including supervising staff and developing departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with our organization's mission and values.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity throughout our organization, including promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into core people practices and standard work across the organization.
  • Develop and analyze metrics to determine program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continued organizational development.
  • Provide guidance and direction to employee resource groups, including infrastructure, growth, ROI, and budget management.
  • Identify and build relationships in the DEI community, focusing on promoting and enhancing inclusion and diversity.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in hospital administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration, or an approved related program, and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance, or appropriate functional discipline.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with diversity and inclusion processes within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strong written and oral/expressive communication skills for meeting facilitation and deliverable development.
  • Able to build strong networks and effectively engage and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to employee/community, and patient satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Results driven- demonstrates ownership and accountability and delivers on commitments.
  • Strong Project Management experience with proven ability to drive a project from beginning to end with high customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in DEI, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, human resources, or a related field.
  • PhD in Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • 7 years of experience in DEI work, or equivalent HR Business Partner experience with demonstrated success in leading and/or actively participating in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion initiatives.
