About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven HVAC Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing long-term client relationships and maximizing account penetration and client retention with contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell company products, systems, and services in assigned territory to assigned accounts
  • Develop relationships with multiple buying influences in the client's organization, including project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable
  • Consistently ascertain client needs and current market opportunities, assembling and coordinating with the sales team as needed for client penetration and project acquisition
  • Gather and validate preliminary information through construction plan review or other requirements
  • Coordinate with Estimators in the interpretation of specifications and preparation of proposals
  • Responsible for project takeoff, selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services
  • Determine proposal price and selling strategy
  • Review contract terms and conditions
  • Presents the proposal and negotiates price, terms, and conditions with client
  • Assist clients in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, products, and applications; BAS, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution
  • Obtain Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update appropriate schedules
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years client service experience
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Detail oriented, organized, strong math skills
  • Motivated, self-starter that can work independently
  • Two years HVAC and/or construction industry experience a plus
