Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized and group instruction to students, focusing on remedial, enrichment, and accelerated learning strategies.
- Assist in the planning and development of instructional programs, ensuring alignment with state and national standards.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to identify and address student learning needs.
- Develop and implement effective instructional materials and resources to support student learning.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers on best practices in instructional design and delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Valid professional teaching certificate.
- Master's degree with emphasis in an educational content area is required.
- Master's degree with emphasis in Administration and Supervision/Educational Leadership preferred.
- A minimum of five years successful classroom teaching experience is preferred.
Henrico County Public Schools offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a minimum annual starting salary of $61,663 for Master's degree holders and $64,623 for Doctorate holders. Our 220-day contract provides a stable and secure work environment.
