Job Title: Behavioral Health Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Assistant to work within our Behavioral Health Department. As a key member of our team, you will support the development of Skills Acquisition Plans (SAPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), while assisting behavioral health specialists and behavior analysts in the implementation of these plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of treatment and training strategies, including baseline data collection.
  • Contribute to individuals' overall care plan by gathering information and data from direct care and clinical staff.
  • Train and assist direct care staff in implementing PBSPs, SAPs, and providing special treatment sessions.
  • Collect, enter, tabulate, and report on behavioral, SAP, and restraint data as needed.
  • Attend and participate in assigned meetings, such as interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings.
Requirements:
  • Behavioral analysis theories and practice, as well as regulatory guidelines related to the field of intellectual disabilities.
  • Positive behavioral supports, Skill Acquisition Plans, and the active treatment loop.
  • Facility operations and policies, procedures, laws, rules, standards, and guidelines.
