Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our global manufacturing and vendor management functions. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global manufacturing strategy, managing internal manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Operations:
    • Develop and implement a global manufacturing strategy that aligns with corporate goals and market demands.
    • Manage internal manufacturing operations in the U.S. and China to ensure capacity, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, high quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
    • Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality.
    • Ensure all manufacturing sites comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Supply Chain and Vendor Management:
    • Design and execute a robust supply chain strategy to support company growth and operational goals.
    • Drive initiatives to achieve the best total cost structure, including negotiating strategic supplier relationships and agreements.
    • Understand market trends affecting material costs and communicate across the organization to mitigate risks.
    • Support new product development by identifying and developing technologies, suppliers, and processes that provide a competitive advantage.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in global manufacturing and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing global manufacturing operations, third-party OEM suppliers, and complex supply chains.
  • Expertise in vendor management, new supplier identification, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong technical, financial, and operational expertise in building and managing successful operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective under pressure and display the ability to quickly understand new issues, seek information, and buy-in, delegate effectively, and make sound decisions.
  • Skilled in guiding, providing feedback, coaching, and motivating team members for continuous development and improvement.
  • A deep understanding of supply chain and manufacturing technologies, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is preferred).
