Role Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Vehicle Alignment Specialist at Goodyear, you will be tasked with the professional inspection, diagnosis, and repair of tires, as well as conducting alignments for commercial vehicles, all while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Duties Include:
  • Assessing, recommending, and executing vehicle alignments for commercial trucks based on customer requirements.
  • Balancing wheel assemblies and performing tire services for commercial vehicles.
  • Engaging in training opportunities to expand your skill set to include additional vehicle services such as brake work, suspension services, axle work, and oil changes.
  • Maintaining and cleaning service equipment.
  • Delivering 'Service Excellence - Always' to achieve the service objectives of the center and meet customer expectations.
  • Documenting all work performed on service tickets.
  • Adhering to all safety and liability protocols.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Performing various manual tasks for extended periods, which may involve lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with commercial vehicles, particularly in alignments.
  • A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type required for the role, meeting commercial driver qualification standards.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in commercial vehicle service.
  • Familiarity with additional vehicle services, including brake and oil services.
