Position Overview

The role of Senior Technical Project Manager is pivotal within the Global Information Services (GIS) team at UST Inc. This position involves collaborating with various business units and support teams to effectively plan, organize, and oversee the successful execution of essential projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will:

1. Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to Applied's Project Management Methodology throughout all project phases.
2. Collaborate extensively with the GIS team, vendors, and various business units to coordinate project activities.
3. Define project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
4. Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all activities and expected outcomes.
5. Prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
6. Communicate project status to key stakeholders regularly.
7. Implement project management best practices, including risk management, tracking progress, and documentation.
8. Prepare and present project materials for reviews and updates.
9. Ensure compliance with Applied's Project Management Methodology during project execution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
- Over 10 years of experience in project management.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP or CSM.
- A proven history of leading enterprise-level projects, including business processes and IT integration.
- Proficiency in project planning tools.
- Strong understanding of functional business processes and their relation to IT projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A customer-centric approach to ensure satisfaction and success.
- Experience in driving workshops and aligning requirements with deliverables.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on project outcomes.
- The ability to identify and escalate risks and issues effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel Requirements

This role may require occasional travel, including interactions and meetings across various time zones.
