Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician role at FPI Management, Inc. is responsible for maintaining the upkeep and functionality of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain apartment homes, including appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Maintain grounds, curbs, and property aesthetics to comply with company policies.
  • Conduct on-call and after-hours emergency services as required.
  • Perform unit turnover tasks, including inspections, repairs, and appliance installation.
  • Maintain equipment, shops, and storage rooms in a safe and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in residential property management.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Google Drive and GMail.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and comply with facial hair policy.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical school and/or CAMT certification.
  • Experience with rehabilitation and renovation, pool maintenance, and boiler systems.
  • Knowledge of TCAC, CALFHA, and NSPIRE compliance.
