Job Summary:

Waterco of the Central States, Inc. is a leading provider of water treatment systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Customer Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service through interactions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Promote sales of new and additional services to existing customers, leveraging product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Schedule service and delivery orders, and coordinate with the service/operations manager to ensure seamless execution.
  • Bill service, delivery, and new installation orders, maintaining accurate records and processing customer payments.
  • Process internal reporting, providing valuable insights and data to inform business decisions.
  • Make outbound calls to customers to schedule additional services or offer maintenance plans, driving revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Take care of over-the-counter customer orders and provide information about products or services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a sales/marketing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication.
  • Medium Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge, with the ability to learn proprietary customer service programs.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving complex issues.
  • Data-entry experience, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional Skills:
  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proper phone etiquette, with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
