Parts Procurement Coordinator

Fidelity PowerSystems, a leading distributor of Kohler Generators and Power Systems, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Parts Procurement Coordinator at our Richmond, VA office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing: Identify and procure spare parts and vendors to support generator service operations.
  • Negotiating: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and conditions.
  • Evaluating: Research and compare products and services to find the best options for the organization.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of raw materials and goods in a collocated warehouse and remote locations, as well as manage truck inventory counts via mobile inventory.
  • Tracking: Track and record orders, and monitor order expenses.
  • Communicating: Communicate performance and costs to management and customer service representatives.
  • Ensuring Quality: Ensure that all products and materials meet company standards and are received and placed in the proper inventory location.
  • Monitoring Supplier Performance: Ensure that parts are delivered on time and consistently.
  • Determining Replacement Parts: Determine which replacement parts are required based on inspections, customer requests, or descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Preparing Documents: Check tenders and purchase order documents.

  • Excellent Command of MS Office Products: Possess an excellent command of MS Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Knowledge of Generator Equipment and Parts: Knowledge of generator equipment and parts is preferred.
  • Ability to Maintain Routine: Ability to maintain a routine that ensures daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are performed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to Work with Others: Ability to work with and communicate effectively with others.
