Job Title: Front Desk Agent

At Omni Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a memorable stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, adhering to Omni's Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Listen to guest inquiries and provide accurate responses, showcasing your excellent communication skills.
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest, taking into account their preferences and room type.
  • Block rooms in the computer and follow through on designated requirements, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets, demonstrating your attention to detail.
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Employ attention to detail to ensure security of guest room access and maintain the integrity of our hotel's systems.
  • Understand and execute all Omni accounting standards, ensuring accurate settlement of folios and adherence to cash handling policies.
  • Document all guest requests, complaints, or problems, and notify designated department personnel for resolving the situation.
  • Issue safe deposit boxes to guests and ensure the security of keys, upholding our hotel's commitment to guest safety.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily and weekly reports, providing valuable insights for our hotel's operations.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to clearly communicate with guests, associates, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems, demonstrating your technical skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside your department, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations, ensuring the integrity of our hotel's financial systems.
  • Ability to think clearly, quickly, and make concise decisions, demonstrating your problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on tasks, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating your adaptability.
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, upholding our hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Previous customer service experience, with a strong preference for previous hotel front desk experience and cashiering experience.
  • Must have alcohol training certification (TABC) certification, ensuring compliance with our hotel's policies and procedures.
