Job Description
The Admitting Registrar is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration resulting in seamless hand-off to clinical/non-clinical departments. This involves interviewing patients to obtain demographic and financial information, ensuring insurance eligibility, and performing pre-cert/authorization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of registration or comparable work experience
- Strong technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
