Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist with preparing patients for procedures and treatments, and provide emotional support during difficult times.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient information and required data in a timely and accurate manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
