Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist professional nursing staff with routine duties in caring for assigned patients
- Utilize Powerchart for Order Entry and provide technical support to employees
- Answer telephones, relay messages, and make calls as necessary
- Assemble charts for admission, transfer, and discharge, and post charges
- Set up appointments for special procedures and outpatient services
- Maintain unit patient log, collect data, and order necessary supplies
- Perform charge capture, reconciliation, and identify variances between Cerner and HealthQuest
- High School graduate
- Training in/completion of Order Entry computer system
- Completion of Clerk orientation
- Computer literate
- Familiarity with hospital departments and regulations
