Job Overview

Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Refreshments Services, the Senior Vice President of Operations (SVPO) oversees the comprehensive management of several Market Centers within a designated region, generating substantial revenue exceeding $160M. This role is pivotal in unifying a team under a cohesive growth and operational framework, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency, revenue, profit margins, and client retention across the portfolio of Market Centers. The SVPO is tasked with ensuring the organization consistently delivers operational excellence while identifying innovative and creative services and solutions to meet our clients' evolving needs, collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. The individual in this position will define the overarching strategy, priorities, and direction for operations in the area. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating change, embracing calculated risks, and influencing key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all aspects of operations with complete P&L responsibility.
  2. Foster new sales growth within the existing client base while ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
  3. Formulate both short-term and long-term operational strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, providing the necessary guidance for successful design, development, and execution of these strategies to achieve measurable outcomes efficiently.
  4. Lead and inspire a highly productive and motivated team through effective communication, empowerment, recognition, and coaching techniques. Maintain strong collaborative relationships with partner groups across functional areas, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance.
  5. Collaborate with business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to drive transformation and implement new business processes.

Educational Background

Preferred: Master's degree

Qualifications
  1. Must reside in the designated South Region.
  2. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  3. A minimum of ten to twelve years of progressively responsible experience in general management with full P&L accountability, preferably in the food or retail service sectors.
  4. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong track record in managing effective client relationships.
  5. Broad knowledge of management practices complemented by solid business analysis and project management skills.
  6. Strong business planning acumen to execute strategic initiatives in rapidly evolving environments.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resources remotely within a widely dispersed organization.
  8. Proficient in selecting top talent and fostering a productive environment that encourages initiative, innovation, and continuous development.
  9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable to diverse audiences including clients, frontline managers, and executive leaders.
