Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely repairs.
- Perform essential maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs such as painting and fixture replacements.
- Oversee and coordinate the housekeeping and laundry teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by testing fire protection systems and monitoring water temperatures, maintaining accurate logs.
- Manage external service contracts, including landscaping and pest control, to uphold community standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal comfort for residents.
- Execute annual preventative maintenance plans to prolong the life of facilities.
- Prepare vacated units for new residents, ensuring they meet move-in standards.
- Assist with resident transitions, including move-ins and move-outs.
- Provide training to staff on safety protocols and conduct regular emergency drills.
- Maintain all company-owned equipment in excellent condition.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to work independently while also supervising a team.
- Familiarity with housekeeping and laundry operations is preferred.
- Patience and understanding when interacting with residents who may have cognitive challenges.
- Required certifications include extensive HVAC knowledge, electrical training, and plumbing experience.
- Valid driver's license is necessary for this role.
