Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of operating systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of desktops, laptops, and standard peripheral devices
  • Capability to oversee computer technology service and repair
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs to a height of 4 feet occasionally

Essential Job Functions:

  • Deliver technical assistance to computer users via telephone
  • Manage and update the work order system, ensuring communication of work order priority and status to end users
  • Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues with computer or network devices related to user error, defective hardware, or software/server/network complications
  • Effectively communicate with staff and students regarding technology maintenance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware device malfunctions, including printers, scanners, barcode readers, and digital cameras
  • Proactively monitor and report adherence to the organization's technology service level agreement

Other Job Functions:

  • Participate in scheduled meetings and training sessions
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
