As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of service and efficiency. You will be surrounded by talented individuals and visionary leaders, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on society.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee team performance to align with business and customer requirements.
  • Assess daily priorities and manage internal requests effectively.
  • Coordinate with furniture and relocation vendors, scheduling activities in partnership with various teams.
  • Manage both onsite and offsite furniture inventory, including budgeting for repairs and replacements.
  • Develop actionable plans based on space requirements and feasibility assessments.
  • Ensure the IMAYL database is updated and troubleshoot vendor issues.
  • Assist the team with logistical support, including moves and deliveries.
  • Identify workflow blockers and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain updated Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and departmental Playbooks.
  • Provide metrics and analysis for upper management decision-making.
  • Offer after-hours support for site-wide communications.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance systems and procedures.
  • Manage budget and expenses for the team, including procurement and invoice approvals.
  • Foster vendor relationships to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure all managed spaces are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Stay informed on policies and regulations, collaborating with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Work with Human Resources to oversee performance management and training for department staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Services, preferably with a focus on MAC.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with Archibus Web Central, Service NOW, and IMAYL is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Steelcase and Herman Miller furniture systems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings and manage data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independence in decision-making.
  • Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
