As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of service and efficiency. You will be surrounded by talented individuals and visionary leaders, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee team performance to align with business and customer requirements.
- Assess daily priorities and manage internal requests effectively.
- Coordinate with furniture and relocation vendors, scheduling activities in partnership with various teams.
- Manage both onsite and offsite furniture inventory, including budgeting for repairs and replacements.
- Develop actionable plans based on space requirements and feasibility assessments.
- Ensure the IMAYL database is updated and troubleshoot vendor issues.
- Assist the team with logistical support, including moves and deliveries.
- Identify workflow blockers and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain updated Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and departmental Playbooks.
- Provide metrics and analysis for upper management decision-making.
- Offer after-hours support for site-wide communications.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance systems and procedures.
- Manage budget and expenses for the team, including procurement and invoice approvals.
- Foster vendor relationships to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure all managed spaces are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Stay informed on policies and regulations, collaborating with stakeholders as necessary.
- Work with Human Resources to oversee performance management and training for department staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Services, preferably with a focus on MAC.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with Archibus Web Central, Service NOW, and IMAYL is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Steelcase and Herman Miller furniture systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead meetings and manage data effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to deliver impactful presentations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and independence in decision-making.
- Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
